The public site
You can read loganbrandall.com without an account. The site has no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. If you switch to dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it; it never leaves your device.
Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages see basic request information such as your IP address and browser. The site is hosted by Vercel, and fonts and a few scripts load from Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare), each under its own privacy policy.
The family hub
The family hub at /family is a private area for the Randall family. Only family members can sign in.
- Signing in with Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with the hub. They're used only to check that you're on the family list and to show who's signed in. The hub never sees your Google password and has no access to anything else in your Google account.
- Signing in with the family password stores the name you type, so we know who added or edited a recipe.
- A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 60 days. It holds only your name, email (for Google sign-in) and an expiry date, and it's cleared when you sign out.
- Recipes, stories and photos you add are stored privately with Vercel and can only be seen by people signed in to the hub.
- The family calendar shows events from the family's Google Calendar. The hub only reads it; it doesn't store or change any events.
Shared recipes
A family member can choose to share a recipe on the public site under Family Recipes. Only the recipe, its story and its photos are published; who added it is not. Stopping sharing removes the public post and its photos.
What we don't do
Your information is never sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone outside the family, other than the hosting services above that keep the site running.
Removing your information
To have your information or anything you added removed, email logan.b.randall@gmail.com.
